My Film About HPV
I am making a short film about the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) to make young girls and parents more aware of what the virus is, what the vaccine offers and to let everyone know all the information possible about this, as I don’t think people are being told enough.
I also wanted to learn about HPV and the vaccine myself as I am 16 and I am out of school. I didn’t know where to go for information, so I did some research for myself and found out everything I wanted to know about it.
I think its outrageous that girls are not being educated about this first, especially as they’re so young and its sexually transmitted. I think young girls should be told everything about the vaccine, even all the bad things, and they need to make the decision themselves, as it is their body not the parents.
