Sir Isaac Newton

Newton was born to an illiterate farmer and showed little academic promise at school. He dropped out at an early age to help his mother run her estate but his hatred of farming made him work hard to get back into education. Newton defied all rules by securing a place at Cambridge University where he stayed for the next 35 years and became a famous mathematician and physicist and discovered the law of gravity.
